Ricoh Europe names Enrique Calabuig as Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Board

Ricoh Europe, London, 15 April 2016 – Ricoh Europe today announced that Enrique Calabuig has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer for Ricoh Europe and appointed to its Board as Executive Vice President. 

Mr Calabuig has worked for Ricoh for over 23 years and has held a number of senior positions across the company, including those at Director and Chief Executive Officer level for various geographies. A well-respected and highly valued leader of the business, Mr Calabuig has led offices in France and Spain simultaneously for the past four years. Foremost, he is an innovator with an impressive track record of excellence in execution and talent development. He has extensive knowledge and a deep understanding of what drives value with small, medium and large organisations, as well as strategic accounts and partner channels.

A total of 23 Ricoh subsidiaries across Europe will report to Mr Calabuig, who will also maintain responsibility for Ricoh Europe operations and its Supply Chain. He will report directly to Ricoh Europe’s CEO, David Mills.

Mr Calabuig has a strong academic background. He is an Electrical Engineering graduate with an MBA and has completed a General Management Program. He has studied in a number of countries, including Spain and the USA.

Mr Calabuig’s appetite for innovation, multicultural background, language capabilities and experience as a seasoned presenter at international conferences will contribute significantly to the continued success of Ricoh Europe.

Speaking of his appointment Mr Calabuig said: “I am delighted to embark on this exciting new era with Ricoh Europe.
