Ricoh to showcase diverse range of industrial capabilities at IDTechEx Show 2018
Ricoh Europe, London, 28 March 2018 – Print and manufacturing specialist Ricoh
is set to present its most diverse range yet of industrial capabilities at the IDTechEx Show (11-12 April at the Estrel Convention Center, Berlin, Germany).
Ricoh representatives will showcase a broad portfolio of innovations including Additive Manufacturing (AM) for ceramic, glass, metal and Industrial printing applications. The technology and materials on show will complement Ricoh’s AM, industrial inkjet and energy management offerings.
The event will also mark the first time in Europe that Ricoh presents its new Solar Dye Cell coating for energy harvesting. In parallel to this Ricoh’s industrial experts will demonstrate the crossover in technologies with Photo Voltaic and Conductive applications in Inkjet.
Dave Varty, Head of Business Development, Industrial Business, Ricoh Europe says: “Ricoh’s history as a manufacturing and industrial application expert dates back to our formation in 1936. Since then, we have continued to innovate in areas ranging from print head manufacturing to aqua gel organs and veins designed to support surgical training.”
Varty will present an overview of the current and significant innovations in AM materials developed from core expertise over the past 80 years which have led to Ricoh’s most comprehensive industrial offering.
Varty adds: “Industries as diverse as biomedical and pharmaceutical through to automotive and engineering are making use of Ricoh’s proprietary technology. This includes nylons, metals, ceramics and binder jetting, in addition to our extensive experience with ink and toner”.
